New budget OSD Class-D 8/6/4/3/2 channel amplifier (HTD4150 - HTD8150)

Im considering getting the htx8150.

Just can't get passed my curiosity and the versatility is super useful for my needs.

What is the process of getting it tested by Amir?

Im not seeing that htx4150 on the list so I assume that guy never sent it in or perhaps im jumping ahead a bit, Amir probably got his hands full

Nice! So whats your experience with it?

I keep seeing people saying that the enormous overhead in say bridged running 4 ohm speakers makes a noticeable impact on moderate volumes...just really curious about these models.

I saw, im almost 100 percent sure, Amir did a review of a class D amp that was almost identical to these, but i can't for the life of me find it.

But he recommended it, and was pretty happy with the power output at given dustortion levels, but I wanna know.

So far, its been great. The bridged mode is a great option. I have Monitor Audio Silver 100 6g connected to this amp & it definitely made a difference. Upping the available power to them from 100W to 400W provides great headroom for home theater use. The only issue I have is they couldn't tell me what the max gain db level is & adjusting it is useless because the dials don't have preset stops or detents so you can never match the levels.

This was not the review. Amir was recommending the one he reviewed and it had the exact same specs as the OSD.

Im waiting for some money to clear then ill order it and see if I can get in contact with Amir for possible review and measurements
