New Buchardt Audio speaker

Looks to me like a very fine speaker again from Buchardt.

They're shipping. I've had a pair up and working for a couple days with a Platin stereo hub. The Zen microphone is not talking to the Platin app yet, so I have not been able to calibrate. But they do have low frequencies!

(Low enough that I discovered low-frequency rumble artifacts on an old Abida Parveen recording that I'd never heard before. Guess I need to make a filter.)

Spill the beans! How do you like 'em?

Don‘t see a (relevant) cardioid effect—please don‘t tell me that a 1dB gain elsewhere is useful. And we see a jump in directivity, once the tweeter takes over. And there is no increase toward the higher treble.

Directivity is overestimated deliberately, while the referring room reverberation (and coloration) is happily ignored. Not a system’s engineering approach. More like gear fandom?
I’m not sure there are any reviews to test for this.
It might be a while.
