my feelings about this is that is that device is LOT prettier... i mean the eye appeal is right there with the glass top but I dont know if it has those blue lights as standard?
and $99 usd for the unit plus a starter 32v 5a is obviously good
BUT you lose preouts and triggers so...

Wow, slick case! Looks like a product from another Chinese factory—haven't spotted it on Taobao yet, though. Seems like a lot of Chinese brands are shifting focus away from their home market and targeting overseas users these days.

At this point, I only trust products that are ASR-certified!! If it doesn't measure well on ASR, I'm not buying it.

Lets see:
You like the 'see through' clear top, whatever it is made out of (I think that is what you meant). And it's overall aesthetics. Me too.
But: there are caveats:
I, like you, agree that the "disco lights" are likely useless:
(but, they probably look cool and, if they are bothersome, can be turned off, a useful feature).
I find Bluetooth incredibly useful (but is it LDAC or what?).
I am at a loss for why an amplifier should have preouts???
I can understand the desire for a trigger (though I do not use them myself).

(It does not specify on the company website [at least not that I could find], so a very valid point).
Yep, many questions need to be answered about this unit before I would consider it.
It says "tempered glass" on Amazon.
Oh, to get the 300 watts a channel: it says on the companies website, that you must use a 48 volt power supply but does not specify the amps needed.
as far as bluetooth goes i'd rather have it upstream in your dac or preamp but i mean its harmless if its there but i would assume its just a basic AAC/SBC affair because if it was any good they would advertise it as such

I guess we will be seeing a flood of $99 boxes with TPA3255 and more or less options.
Good for people shopping in that price range. Even if it's not a measurement winner, it is so much better than what $99 used to buy.
This particular one, I can see that on the desk of a minor and be totally stunned by it.

I'd prefer something less than a $400 Wiim Ultra but I dunno what is good there... but for amplification it seems like this is a golden era some people dont know about.

There is an alternative to the Wiim Amp pro/ultra based on a TPA3255 @ $208
This new Amazon amp is a Multiroom Streaming Amplifier based on the ESS ES9023Q2M DAC & TI TPA3255DD chip (internal 46V/10A PSU)
Oh, a real do-it-all-box.
The DAC chip is a bit older and not reaching the 9038/9039 league. But would it matter..
It even provides a PC connection. And has all the input/streaming options.
These things stand and fall with the quality of the software.
I know nothing about Eytse, first time I have seen the brand.
Very interesting box for a garage setup. Or for the minor's desk.
Per the manual, it appears to integrate an Audiocast/4stream compatible module (based on quad core A53).
I have tried one of these small “dumb” Audiocast WiFi adapters before and I believe the controller (your phone)) does the streaming and multi-room management. But it was along time ago and I don’t know how this platform has evolved. There might be more features built into the onboard module.

As a reminder, not so long ago—and such units still exist—you had to spend over a thousand dollars to get an amplifier that sometimes offered inferior (or even poor) measured performance.
Furthermore, compared to what you might call a "living-room-worthy" amplifier (presumably one with extraordinary specs), would you actually be able to tell the difference by listening? Or would it be a matter of some sort of bias (acoustic or otherwise), or simply the conviction that anything expensive is necessarily good, very good, or "superior"?
Your "garage" label reflects only your own opinion, and I find your remarks rather presumptuous toward other members of this site; you should get a grip and show a bit more humility in what you say
As long as I have not seen measurements or a review about the hardware, I consider such cheap boxes suspicious. I would not use them with expensive speakers in the living room. But with those of the yesteryears, more or less worthless today, hence the term garage.
So should a box like that produce a pop that blows a speaker part, I can live with it.
Circling back to the often mentioned 3e audio Ax: measured, reviewed, proven to be good. I have no concern connecting such an amp to a speaker that costs 50x it's price.
It's just how I see it. Garage is no talking down about these amps. Trust has to be earned, to a degree.

Would you buy some hardware with a good review but with bad measurements ?
Define bad measurement.
There is very good. And there is fit for purpose. And a lot of space inbetween.
