Very cool book, one of my favs in a similar vein is Nikola Tesla’s patents, great for dipping into.

FYI, this book has been released. There's an excellent YT video wherein the authors explain the techniques used to obtain the photographs. A visual preview of the contents is also provided as they page through sections of the book and provide commentary.

Books like these make me question why I left manufacturing so many years ago. These devices are beautiful in their ingenious functionality.
