Good evening friends. Now a new suggestion, I wanted a class D amplifier option, which could play equal or superior power to what I have today: 30 year old Mcintosh Ma6800 and a pair of 15 year old BW 804s. Any suggestions? to push these two boxes well into a small class D amplification box. Thanks

What have you considered so far to meet your requirements? You want a power amp or another integrated amp?

Thanks for the suggestions,
I had imagined something like Fosi v3 mono, Douk, E3 A7, but apparently none of these little ones would still be able to give a power equal to an MA6800 with two BW804s... accepting more suggestions. Thanks.

3e A7 ... not as pretty as your amp, but plenty of clean powder and will have no trouble with your speakers.

There are quite a few options, that's where I'd go.

V3 mono will actually do about as much power. But since it's replacing a very premium amp I assumed you wanted something TOTL. But the little ones do a good job too.

Sell all and get some active speakers. These B&W are colored and just not good enough.

Please let me know what dumpster you intend on disposing your old Mc into.
TIA, Sal1950 ;)

kkk this good old McIntosh will return to the US, to my daughter's house in Florida in Winter Garden.... it's a gift for my 1 year old grandson... if I change my mind I'll let you know...kkkk

I would second the Hypex NCx500 or the latest Purifi. You've got a wide list of assemblers and models from utilitarian to drool worthy, based on how much you want to spend.

That's good news, no shipping needed.
Winter Garden is right in my back yard.
and good for local pickup. ;)
