Just a heads up to anyone thinking of getting KH420. Sweetwater has put em up at 48mo 0 intrest. Ive never seen them do a 48 spread before on these. June 2 2025 cut off I think.
If you know how to invest the cash you otherwise would've put up right away, they're basically putting up a sign that says "For Sale: Free Money"

Very little or it is a stolen one. Nuemann does not produce in china, and most of the key components aren't made their neighter, its all made in the EU with the final assembly and testing in Wedemark (Hannover, Germany). So it's certainly not a grey production one (like what happens with other brands).

That's awesomely cheap, even for postage... (Plus free KH420?)

I definitely smell horseshit!

When it sounds too good to be true….we know how it ends.

There are some KH870 on eBay for only 2.5K each with a bit of cabinet damage. You could sell your stands and make these your stands instead ;)

Good idea if the room doesn’t have room nodes. I found that although the subs under each of the speakers would be a logical placement it didn’t turn out that way. Long story short I ended up with 4 KH 805’s placed near the 4 corners.
The sound is nothing short of amazing. The 420’s are crossed over at 80Hz and the 4 subs are set up as a daisy chain.
The cost of the subs was about the same as the KH870’s but the result would not have been possible had I kept them under the mains.

YMMV.

That is if you can place them other places :P I've got O410 on stands with KH810s underneath. Beside my desk o_O Cons of living in a room.

I'm mostly trying to figure out how loud y'all are listening if KH420s need subs to not distort...

For me it’s not about maximizing volume but rather in room evenness in FR

My O410 could make me deaf. I like my sub bass extension so I am running subs. Not exactly necessary.
