Hi guys,

I currently run kh 120s with the 750. I need a mid/far field speaker (2.2) for a bigger space I'm moving the set up to. I was thinking of upgrading to the kh420s and buying an additional 750 dsp to sit under it, like a poor man's 420+870 set up.

1) I believe you can run multiple 750s together and the DSP can handle the logic/configuration, is that correct?
2) does it make sense to run this set up together or is the ported 870 more complementary to the ported 420?
3) Aside from max power output, moving less air, any drawbacks to this setup in comparison to the 870 setup?

Cheers,

not sure if the kh750 supports dsp'ing the kh420. If so the kh750 is a smart move.

also kh420 goes down to 26hz +-3 dont know why you would want a sub for that.

The KH420 gets louder than the 750. It doesn't make much sense to combine them.

I need to double check, but I believe it does. Mostly the reason to use the sub is the dsp, but also because I have one already and because from what I've heard from others the mids and highs are improved from offloading the low range to subs (was made in reference to the 870, but point should stand)
