I'm really enjoying them paired with a KH 805 II:

And the MA 1 worked it's magic:

Mini PC -> USB -> Yamaha CD-S3000 DAC -> Yamaha C-5000 preamp -> Blue Jeans XLR balanced cables -> KH 805 II -> XLR -> KH 150 -> ears

Eye candy provided by Minimeters and MAAT go
Just a question : you don't use anymore the big (and beautiful) Yamaha amp and preamp ? Which passive speakers did (or do) you use with these electronics ?

Yes, the M-5000 power amp is turned off for now. The C-5000 preamp is still in use to feed the Neumann subwoofer. The previous speakers were Yamaha NS-5000s. I still have them and may switch back to them someday.

I'd enjoy the visual symmetry, but another would be dangerous in my 2.7m x 5.2m (9' x 17') room.
No, it would be beneficial.

More subs do not mean more bass but more balanced bass across a larger space - if set up correctly.

Can't even see this monitor in the Speaker Review and Measurement Index.... ?
