I don't know what's the budget but I am certain you can spend it better. Upgrade speakers instead and sound processing then add basic streamer to the chain.

Right now I have a chromecast audio that outputs digital to the marantz pm6006 integrated DAC. Speakers would be q acoustics 50.
As for the budget, let's say 1500 for the streamer+amp.
What would you suggest?

What do you want from an Amp upgrade? Are you hearing noise/distortion or are you lacking volume? If not then you might find that your Amp is good enough.
Which speakers do you have? Q Acoustics 3050 (nice, but worth upgrading) or Concept 50 (very nice indeed)

I'd be very tempted to add the WiiM Ultra and experiment with its room correction / PEQ to see how that affects your sound. You might find an improvement just from that.

Well to be honest that's the only amp I've ever had and I wanted to try something new as you often hear its the most important element and this one is not very powerful (2x45). I'm not sure I would get a huge upgrade but it seems worth a shot. Also the chromecast does not support most high res content on tidal and defaults back to 16/44.
Right now I have pretty mid cabasse speakers which I'm upgrading to concept 30 or 50 (can't decide but that's another topic). I've tried and liked them already on my system.

It's easy for me to recommend, however availability is usually a problem. I don't like your speakers even I use their budget bookshelf's. But here it goes... A pair of closed back 10" sub's one to each tower speaker and relatively close to it, MiniDSP Flex + mic to do 2.2 setup, crossover all over to 150 Hz crossed in the order of natural room decay and of course EQ-ing manually by PEQ, WiiM Mini Toslink to Flex. Now you're mains will be very smooth and weak Marantz more than plenty enough powerful. Before I forget plug the port's on QA 50. Pay attention that the crossover is very good done as that is main bass peak range, you also get plenty more dynamic range in low peeks (mid 30's~40's).
