Someone posted a color show on youtube for it.
It seems a dark blue light is available :
It looked good. Smooth, good function.:)

I have manually changed the colors of the lamps for my VU Meters on my vintage Luxor 7082A. That is, I painted the lamps and tested different colors. I liked pink, but I think what fits best is white with a bit of yellow in it. Something like the picture below. Not my amp as I was currently fixing new lamps for it.

But McIntosh blue I might still try.:D

What I have, and would love to see get tested, is the Douk audio L3. It is more of a source selector with 3 RCA inputs and one output, but with nice round color-tuneable VU meters instead of rectangular. Has a remote as well. You can also run 1 in 3 out or put the 3 inputs in series to sort of stack the signals (for adding processors I suppose). The only power switch is in the remote and you can’t tune the gain or acceleration like this one. You tune the gain by adjusting the volume of the source going in. Not perfect but easy to control from my RME.

They claim it has high input impedance so it doesn’t affect the sound but I’d love to see proof.

The idea of remote speaker switching is cool; wonder if the switch would behave with amp with balanced/differential output.

Looks great but needs a peak indicator with optional hold and be calibrated to the voltages required for measure power up to 500watts.

Meters are to slow to give accurate indications. On a good recordings with 20db dynamics the meters will show 10 watts with 200 watt peaks. An amp can be clipping while the meter shows it's just loafing along.

Ordered. It's already out of stock on Amazon.com... LOL...
For those not State side, ordering from ebay should be a better deal. It's $158.09 and shipped free from China.

Voted “fine” because although the unit does nothing destructive to the signal, in the end it’s just a toy.

This.

Can anyone share the Amazon link? Apparently, my search foo is weak.

Its currently listed as unavailable on Amazon. It is available from the Fosi Audio eBay Store:

I've said something like that before in another thread, but I'll say it again: That thing is wasted money. Put 350 Euros on the table (or get it used for less) and get a TC Electronics Clarity M and you'll have something serious and not a toy that's basically just a light show and doesn't show any valuable information.
Oh, come on now. Where's that 10 year old little boy in you, the one that said OH THIS IS SO COOL! You can't take this hobby so serious that you lose track of the fun and the visual appeal. You're on the verge of being one of those Audiophile People.
