Needing Recommendations for C6B Setup

I was very fortunate to snag an open box C6B listed on Tested Audio today. Now I'm scrambling, trying to figure out what all I need to get with them. I'm looking for recommendations for amp/streamers, subs, and stands. Is the WiiM Ultra equipped to run the C6Bs and a woofer? I was also looking at the SVS SB-1000 Pro. Would that be a good choice for the room I'm putting them in? Is there something better for a similar price? Could potentially spend more if it was good enough. Looking to spend around 1k for all of this, but that could be stretched a bit if it would make a big difference in sound quality. They'll be going in a room that's 15.8ft by 10.9ft and 8.3ft tall. So 1389.4 ft³. Which I believe is kinda on the border of small/medium for room size. Also as a complete newbie, it would be very helpful to know what cables and wires I need to get.

Yes, easily. Just note that the WiiM Ultra is just a Streamer and not an Amp, so you will need to buy an Amp as well.

If you'd rather have a one-box solution, then have a look at the WiiM Amp Pro or Amp Ultra.

What price are you getting them for? And which country are you located in?

For the C6B you will need two low gauge Speaker wires.

For the Sub you will need a single RCA cable.

wiim amp ultra had no problem with my c6b and an active subwoofer
Another vote for the Wiim Amp Ultra. Myself, i am curious what the combination would do with the Wiim subwoofer. On the other hand, the sub choice with C6B has been discussed before and (probably) good, bigger subs for almost the same price seem to be a wiser choice. Cables? Have a look at 'world's best cables'. Not expensive, well made.

I'm in the US. The SVS SB-1000 subwoofer I'm looking at runs $600. Since it's a smaller room I was thinking I should get a sealed subwoofer.

Either sealed or ported in a room of your size is fine. Just be sure to get an amp with room correction and sub output like the Wiim. I have the SVS 3000 Micro with my C6Bs in a larger room, chosen because I wanted something as small and lightweight as possible. In your case I would save money and go with the RSL Speedwoofer 10E for $340.

The speaker grills for the C6Bs are out of stock. I found these magnetic speaker grills for a different speaker, but they're 6.5", which seems to be about the right size: https://www.pureresonanceaudio.com/products/pure-resonance-audio-c6-bg-black-ceiling-speaker-grill

Do you think they'd be a suitable replacement? I'm just looking for something to cover the speakers while they're not in use, so it doesn't matter if it would affect the sound quality. If this wouldn't work, what would you all recommend for protection? Is there some kind of DIY solution that would work better?

I have that sub, as well as a sb2000pro It’s very good. Is easy to setup has a nice app with parametric EQ. Highly recommended.

No.

Why? Looks?

Protection not needed unless you have kids around who cannot be dissuaded from poking them.

If it's looks, then I'd DIY some full-speaker cloth covers.

Okay, thank you. My concern is dust and cat hair getting in there, which is why I was wanting to know about covering them while not in use.

Not necessary to cover them for that. Plenty of speakers don't even have grilles (especially pro speakers), which are more for looks than anything.
