I appreciate the SVS SB-2000 Pro suggestion, but it’s just not an option in Italy right now. I’ve checked everywhere: the official distributor has only one unit left (in Gloss Black, for an extra €100), and all other unofficial retailers are inflating prices by several hundreds of euro.
I've also decided against grabbing that last available unit from the distributor. Buying the very last 'lone' item in stock feels risky. There's a high chance it could be a returned unit. More importantly, if it arrives defective or develops an issue, the distributor won't have any stock left to provide a replacement unit.
So... I'm staying with the 1961 1S. The customer service confirmed they'll keep my order active and will alert me if a 1723 1S outlet deal pops up meanwhile.
My pair of 1961 1s have been great and without issue. Balance of size, output, and aesthetics matched my needs perfectly. Hopefully they get yours to you soon.

Honestly, reading US forums makes me want to move to America just for the hi-fi prices and availability. You guys get Hsu, Rythmik, Monolith,SVS with free shipping and huge discounts... The things that don't exist in EU.
Hi everyone,
Just a quick update.
Because of the shipping delays with the 1961 1S, I decided to buy an outlet unit of the Arendal 1723 Subwoofer 1S instead.
