i Just bought the Apos Gremlin amp and the DT 770 Pros and need cables and adapters. This is my first time using equipment like this so i could use a little help.
i was looking to find a adapter for my headphones to the amp, which i found this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075165H2M?smid=A2OPUAQVSPCTA3&th=1 adapter Is this okay? Too cheap?

my next cable is for the amp to go to the pc itself. i can either go for the 4.4 mm route and go to usb or get a dual XLR to usb cable. i was thinking option 2 and getting something like this https://www.amazon.com/Devinal-Outp...e&qid=1772309509&sprefix=,aps,148&sr=8-5&th=1 Same thing for this. Too cheap? okay? My budget is not high at all, my max is $80.

Any help would be appreciated
Thank you

This adapter can kill your Amp, or any other Amp with Pentaconn output.

Never try to adapt your 3.5mm or 1/4" headphone onto a 2.5mm/4.4mm/4pin XLR Headphone output.

For these outputs, you will need a headphone with Native 2.5mm/4.4mm/4pin XLR plug.

You can modify the DT770 to be native balanced, but doing to requires snipping off and replacing the stock cable using a soldering iron.

okay, so my dt 770 cant be used with the amp at all without modification

If the PC's headphone output does not suffice, then personally, I'd buy a Topping DX1.
the pc output does not suffice. It's 250 ohms and when i plug it in it's just static sound and audio doesn't come out

That points more to a technical defect or user error, rather than an insufficient Amp.

Even if the PC output was weak, normally you still get clean audio, if perhaps not quite loud enough.

I'd recommend you investigate the PC output a bit more and try to find out what's wrong with it.

Chances are high that you can save some money that way.

i mean the headphones work when i plug it into my mics headset jack and it works when i plug into my monitors jack and i don't get any static or crunchy noises from them. it's only the pc case and motherboard jacks that give the static. idk what i could be doing wrong

You may be able to use an adapter like this between the amp's balanced 4-pin XLR output and the headphone's unbalanced TRS.

If you prefer to use the 4.4mm TRRS output, you can find "TRRS male to TRS female" adapters on eBay.

That cable from the PC to the back of the amp is interesting. There is a DAC chip of unknown quality inside that big USB plug.

You made your life complicated by going for a "balanced" amp, but I guess that's the thing these days.

This adapter will short the Amp's L- output to R- like all the others, making it unsafe like all the others.

There is no safe adspter to convert balanced headphone out to single ended.
