Hi guys
I am wanting to build a compact line array with 6.5 inch drivers 8pc 18sound 6nd410, 8pc lavoce WAN 061.80, 6pc lavoce DN 10.172K I have some wave guides, and I have the 18sound drives

please read to the end



1 Im after help with box design

Length of array (was thinking 1.4mt can go upto 1.7mt the width will be 400mm the front pannel will be flat but i can angle the drivers in the box if needed

Box volume?

Port size?length? 25 mm port per drive would work


Driver spacing min 15mm

Driver coupling to get the extra 3db is important



2 Crossover, delay and phase all looked into

Low and mid driver are 8 ohms can pick 16 ohms compression drive if wanted to lake lower sensitivity ( better for d Class amps )no white noise lol



A Setting for 3 way active with time delay for each driver trypes



B Setting for 2 way active and passive crossover



low and mid with passive crossover and high with own channel time delay



low and mid drivers wired with 2 in series to make 16 ohms then paralleled up to make 8 ohms for one crossover

2 mid crossovers/ lpad and 2 low crossovers per box for power handling

High will have active



Box ohms

4ohms low

4ohms mid

6 or 12 ohms high
