Looking for a new set of headphones. Been using the AKG k361 for outdoor use and as a back-up, they have been good for the price, but feel like it's time for a good upgrade on them. I do have a pair of Audeze LCD-2 closed backs, and have really enjoyed those, but they are ill-suited for use out in public, mostly due to their huge size. I'm UK based, so would need to be sold locally, so headphones from the likes of Drop are a no go for me.
My budget is ideally £400 or below, but happy to go a bit over if needed.
Rather avoid anything with leather.
Closed back with low sound leakage is a must, but noise canceling is not needed.
Must be wired, with a replaceable cable.
I mostly listen to classical music and pre-90s rock. I avoid music like rave, rap, dance, techno and other similar genres.
Not a fan of overly bassy sound
I do like the sound profile of the LCD-2 and Oppo pm-3
