Need advise, KEF Blade One Meta, B&W 801D4 or Genelec 8361+731A?

After couple of audition in shop, I have made my decision, Blade One it is.

Probably not. But when you raise sound level to something like 100dB @3 meters - it will.

No it won’t. The first harmonic is at 20 kHz. It’s highly unlikely that you’ll heat that. And at 100 db music, high frequencies will be down like 20 dB in level because most of the energy is in the bass. So high frequency distortion is unlikely to be an issue.

If they made active blades that would have been perfect .

With KEFs reputation for unreliable electronics... I would feel much better spending that much on a perfect passive design.

i would pick the kef blades two meta + subs as end game any day at the week

Congrats!! When choosing electrodics for the Blades I found it didn't take much for them to sound good, however when I connected the MC611's the sound reached another level.

Kef blades are state of the art well engineered passive speakers, if I had a budget restricted I'd take the genelec, if not the kef , as they are passive you could pair them with state of the art amplification

+1, the B&W 801D4 will do best. It is used in so many mixing studios for some reason.

To be honest i readed a lot of people with problem in its electronics in their subwoofers xD, that being said if even the company don't trust their electronics for giving 5 years warranty, i will neither trust

Those are not anechoic windows so unfortunately don't really tell much.

+1, the B&W 801D4 will do best. It is used in so many mixing studios for some reason.

In which studios are the quite new D4 already used?
