I have an active subwoofer PSA TV1513 and Q150s. I currently am using Aiyama A07 Pro but it is meant for a different room so it's temporary.
I have an issue with the y splitting of the RCA jacks from my MODI as its all so much cable, it looks terrible. Which makes me wonder if I should be looking at a DAC/AMP like the Aiyama T9Pro, Fosi 2120C or D, or the Aiyama D05.

I could always run the optical from my LG C3 into the DAC/AMP unit but I don't know if it will affect audio quality routing from PC HDMI to the TV and out the optical tv into the DAC. I also don't know if the MODI dac outperforms these all in one unit DACs.

Another issue is the subwoofer is active and the controls are all located on the sub itself. I looked into the Fosi BT30D but it seems it can't control sub volume through the sub out. Any amps that could that aren't 400-500$

Right now I have 8 inch fospower y splitters out the back with a 1.5 foot monoprice RCA and a 3 foot monoprice connecting the magni and a07pro but its a mess. I am stuck with ideas.

A very clean setup would be PC->HDMI->TV->HDMI (ARC)->WiiM Amp/Amp Pro->KEF+Subwoofer.

Advantages are:
  • Streaming services built-in
  • CEC support ->you can control volume via your TV remote
  • Extremely flexible processing including crossover frequency (LPF+HPF), Sub phase/level/delay, and full Parametric EQ, all from the comfort of your phone or tablet using the WiiM Home App.

If you want a pristine signal chain for your PC, no worries. Simply connect your PC via SPDIF and your TV via ARC. The WiiM Amp will switch inputs automatically.

The wiim amp is 300 so its a little outside my range plus I also need to have headphones hooked up. My PC only has the onboard audio jacks and USB audio out.

Being that this is for nearfield, I am not worried so much about remote control use. Everything is close enough to arms reach. Also, streaming isn't the greatest priority.
