My A07 died so I need a new amp. I am also planning on getting a sub in the future. I narrowed down my choices to a few.

Ampapa D1
Aiyima A20
3E A5 or A7

I'm not too knowledgeable with audio. I know the big advantage of the A20 is it has a sub out and HPF/LPF filter. The Ampapa has a full range pre-out but I've heard most subs have a LPF anyway so that cancels out the A20's advantage but I'm not sure if that's true.

It seems the Ampapa D1 is more popular but I haven't seen really any comparisons between it and the A20.

I know the 3e A5/A7 are popular but they don't make subwoofer integration easy as far as I can tell. AFAIK I'd need either a sub with HPF out which I've heard is rare, or I'd have to buy a DSP to connect to my Titanium HD. I'm hoping a DSP wouldnt alter my Titanium HD's sound signature. Also would these options allow the subwoofer to function just as well as it would with the A20?

I'm tempted to go the A5/A7 route. I'm thinking I can enjoy the higher quality sound until I am ready to get a DSP/Sub. I don't want to gimp my sub though. Would I even benefit from the A7 over the A5 or would it be overkill in my case?

Any advice would be wonderful..I've been overthinking this for awhile.

Having a full range pre-out and using only the lpf on a sub (altho some subs can actually provide an hpf if your amp has the right connections) isn't as good as having a hpf/lpf with adjustable crossover in the amp.

Why do you say the A5/A7 has "higher quality sound"? Same for the Titanium HD (a soundcard?)?

How about a Wiim amp?

Just saying that based off the reviews. The A5/A7 have more positive scores and feedback from what I've seen. I wasn't saying my soundcard has better sound than anything else but I do like how it sounds.

Reviews here? Or subjective type reviews?

The polls here showed that the A5/A7 was strongly favored along with comments on other forums and youtube. If im wrong about that great just let me know. Im just trying to get the best amp within my budget for my situation.
