Wonder how much of the effects is a function of the distortions of the BT speaker.

My guess would be "not much".

I'd like a proper laser lissajous generator to throw an image on the wall.

The above doesn't qualify. Pretty, but of no technical use.

I guess it shows that music is a mess...if you display music in a way not suited for our senses...

However, it also gives you a reminder that quantitative analyses may be illustrated in numerous, unexpected ways.

One channel drives the display vertically, the other channel drives the display horizontally.

Here are some contrived sounds that exercise this idea.


Add a thrid channel ( blanking/intensity) and you can get fancy:

They're like retro, analog, simplistic versions of the visualizations that come with iTunes, Foobar, etc...

I don't get it....were you expecting some kind of visual ballet?

I just expect physics, which is often messy and chaotic.
