Not sure. It depends on your application. I like the phono input flexibility of the STR. For me, the fact that its home theatre bypass is a true bypass and not just fixed volume is a turn off. I like to use good room correction for my fronts and leave my AVR to do the rest only, but htat is because I have a Yamaha AVR! So I request a third option, it depends!

This will be just for two channels so I don’t care about Home Theater bypass

Both are on my shortlist as well. The STR does seem to have a lot of flexibility built in but I like the looks of the NAD better.

I think it’s what important to YOU in terms of features and flexibility YOU need. Unless you’re just wondering what measures better.

They seem to be very different animals so it should be easy to decide depending on what you want.

*ClassAB/linearPS (Anthem) vs Clas D/SwitchingPS (NAD)
*ARC (Anthem) vs DiracLive (NAD)
*Requires separate streamer (Anthem) vs Integrated streaming with BluOS (NAD)

I like the NAD look but why did they remove the USB B port?

I voted NAD because I like BluOS and its mature streaming ecosystem - this would be a better fit as my all in one premium solution for digital music.
