NAD M10 V3 owners — do you notice screen quality issues?

The issue I’ve noticed is a clear misalignment between the inner display and the outer glass. Normally, the song progress bar should sit neatly at the bottom of the screen. However, on my NAD M10 V3, the display is tilted — lower on the left and higher on the right. As a result, the progress bar is partially hidden behind the glass and looks incomplete.

At first, I thought this was just an isolated defect. But when I visited the after-sales service center, the staff unpacked and tested several brand-new units — all of them had the same issue. I also asked a friend who bought his M10 V3 back in March, and he confirmed the exact same problem.

Based on this, it seems very unlikely to be an isolated case. I suspect many M10 V3 owners may have the same issue without realizing it, since the misalignment isn’t obvious at first glance.

I’d strongly encourage other M10 V3 owners to take a closer look at their screens and check if the progress bar is fully visible. Honestly, this is a pretty low-level manufacturing fault, and it’s disappointing that it has persisted for months without NAD addressing it. A device at this price point should not have such a basic quality control issue.

That's unfortunately a statement that is true for many of NAD's design and engineering practices, not just their manufacturing. NAD still makes the occasional product that performs well, but ultimately their reputation for performance and quality is really undeserved. It's too bad, they are in a great position to make AVRs that really stand out in the market, for example, but they just don't bother.

I’m not so much disappointed as I am baffled that this issue has persisted for months without a resolution. It’s hard to understand how something like this could slip through for so long. It’s frustrating that a company with the potential to produce high-quality products continues to overlook such significant issues. Hopefully, they’ll address it soon, but it's certainly impacting their credibility.

I did return the M10 within a week. And here's yet another reason why I shouldn't regret it. IMO NAD makes better products, and I disagree when someone says their reputation in audio is undeserved. Their inroads into "lifestyle" audio however seem to require them to go from V1 to V3 in just a few years to get things sorted out... but anything with a phono in is wasted on me these days, anyhow - but that's just me.

As a class D amplifier, I believe its sound quality is excellent. However, I am dissatisfied with its quality control.

I think I have a similar problem. The song progress bar is level but below the bottom part of the screen. So when you are looking directly at it, the numbers are visible but the line is hidden. When you look at the display from above, everything is visible.

Yes, your screen is showing one of the clear signs of this defect. The M10v3 touchscreen is made of two layers — an inner and an outer panel — that are glued together. If they aren’t aligned properly during manufacturing, the progress bar can end up hidden depending on the viewing angle. I asked an authorized NAD service center, and they confirmed this type of defect cannot be repaired. It’s an issue caused by the production process, and the proper solution is for NAD to replace the unit. You should contact NAD support as soon as possible and have them handle it for you.
