NAD M10 V3 BluOS STREAMING AMPLIFIER

You will be fine with that subwoofer and those KEF speakers.
I bought the NAD M10 V3 because it is very compact to use it for my PC desktop setup.
Also you can safe some money and go for the cambridge, it uses the same Hypex Ncore amp.

Arcam SA35: Class A+ A/B (Class G) - ESS9038K2M DAC
NAD M10 V3: Class D Hypex Ncore amp - ESS Sabre ES9039 DAC
EVO150: Class D Hypex Ncore amp - ESS Sabre ES9018K2M DAC

Just pick the one that is in your budget and make sure it has all the connections you need.

A big shame neither of the new Arcam's got Dirac Bass Control. I think that was a missed opportunity, as a brand new modern all-in-one device like this with Dirac, they should IMO really have had Bass Control capability, even if a paid for option.

Because of that the NAD M10 v3 has the advantage I think, certainly for dual sub use it's a no-brainer. Though of course still waiting for Bass Control to be released on the v3!! Can't be too much longer, then I might one for my desk setup.

The v3 should also get DLART ;)
Did not know the M10 will get that - I am looking forward to it on the M66, test out a sub at the back of the room!!

Thank you so much for the suggestions.

I see you use the M10 as a desktop system, mine must be for the main room where I can also connect the TV, CD Phono, etc.

Is it valid for a larger room like mine?

Evo 150 is definitely a good product, probably also a greater power reserve.

I read on this forum from a user who said the 150 sounds terrible, it muddles the musical instruments and moves the voices back, is it possible? This has demotivated me.
Thanks in advance.

Is it included in my license? Or do i need to pay extra for DLART and Bass Control?

According to DIRAC you'll need to buy the ART add on and DLBC.

– An ART-certified AVR.
(Or device with an ART-certified DSP.)
A Dirac Live license with the ART add-on.

– Crucially: If using subwoofers, a Dirac Live Bass Control (DLBC) license is also required. ART technically incorporates advanced bass management, but the DLBC license is needed for systems explicitly configured with subwoofers.

– The Dirac Live desktop application (Windows/Mac) for calibration.

– An omnidirectional measurement microphone.

Great to hear this as I’m awaiting for my NAD and KEF R3 meta for my bedroom to arrive soon. But where did you get this info?

I read that M10 V3 has a reserve of 160 Wat per channel if requested (100 Wat linear) is this correct?

Do you know if it mounts Purify or Hypex Ncore finals?
Thanks

It is using the Hypex nCore 252mp module.
Here you can see that the NAD M10 has more power then NAD say's.

Question ..

What is the difference between the Hypex nCore 252mp and the Hypex NC500MP Module?

Assuming you are comparing a NC252MP bridged to a NC500MP, the bridged NC252MP is rated only for 4 ohms and higher loads. It can output higher voltage so its 8 ohms power rating (500 W) is almost twice as high as the NC500MP (270 W). But for loads at or below 4 ohms, the higher max output current of the NC500MP gives more power.

Thank you.. seems strange to me why NAD have used the 252 module in the V3 ..

They always used the NC252MP.
Any idea why though .. In my mind, newer versions of things generally means newer / better specs then there predecessors ..

Newest Ncore are the NCx modules. There is no NCx250 released at this moment so the NC252MP is still the latest.
I see you have older NC500mp monoblocks in your signature the newest are the NCx500. Not that you hear difference, it is only more power and less distortion.

Thank you for your reply..

How are you finding the v3, I am in two minds of selling my A8 and Mono’s to purchase a V3 or at a push, 2nd hand M33 ..

The M33V2 is out so maybe the prices for the older M33V1 are going to drop more.

I am listening to my M10 V3 everyday and enjoying the music. I use it as a desktop setup and can recommend it for nearfield listening and for medium size rooms.
The streamer amp combo just works great and it is very dynamic sounding. I use it also with the optical connection for my PC.
The best thing is that it is a AllInOne device, so no clutter with cables and things that give distortion.
Here is a test video i made while testing the HPF filter. (speakers that i tested are the AE500, LS50 Meta and Diamond 12.1)
