NAD M10 V3 BluOS STREAMING AMPLIFIER

It is also a Hpyex Ncore amplifier.

... which also the V2 has ...
Who said it did not? This thread is about V3.

Did someone bought and test this M10 V3 streamer/amplifier?

Can someone confirm that the optical SPDIF input connection for the NAD M10 V3 also is max 24 bit/192 kHz? Or is 24 bit/192 kHz only for streaming and files?

Well i just bought one new today. They are allready on Black Friday sales.

There is a Hypex Ncore Amp hiding inside under the printplate.
Here is a picture from the older V2.

Who says that was CPU noise
Other hardware, pcb layout, ... have been installed in the V3. Perhaps a newer firmware has changed the noise positively or negatively in the V1.

From the review:

".. but the noise floor kept jumping up and down causing SINAD to vary with it. This shows lack of isolation between sensitive DAC subsystem and busy processor running other functions of the device. As it is, performance is respectable which is a sigh of relief ..". The "kept jumping up and down" seems to indicate it may well have been the CPU.

I am not sure NAD was shooting for "respectable performance" with the M10. I tried one, but didn't find it provided me with an upgrade to what I already had. Loved the feature set and looks though. And I won't consider the V3 because it now has a phono input, which is entirely wasted on me. But that's just a personal preference.

I like the new BC1 Remote Control.
The new BC1 feels better in my hand. The SRM1 of the M66, which has the same functions, is exactly the opposite :(

What is your first impression? Do you like it?
I wil test the amp in the weekend and let you know.

These are the main points why i bought the NAD M10 V3:
  • Hypex Ncore amp 100W
  • Full bass management with connection for 2 subs (crossover to take the load of the main speakers and send it to the sub)
  • 12V Trigger Out (for my sub)
  • 32-bit/768kHz ESS Sabre DAC ES9039
  • Optical connection to my PC
  • BluOs (Dirac Live + Bass)
  • Colour LCD touchscreen display
  • Compact and fits perfect on my PC desk
Before this i used my SMSL AO300

Thanks, looking forward to this.

I was also considering this Amp, but then got diverted by the bluesound node icon and the topping B200.

I was also going with the Node Icon + a Hypex Ncore amp but i preferd the all in one solution because it takes less space on my desk.
For me the NAD M10 V3 sounds much better with the ES9039 DAC then my older SMSL AO300. The crossover works perfect also, -80hz is send to the subwoofer and +80hz is send to the main speakers. (min=40hz to 200hz max) The installation and bluos update where very easy and fast.

I uploaded a small test video on YouTube but this is not the best recording, from my phone. I did not change any EQ or other settings.

Here are some pictures of the Windows app on my PC . I only use the NAD M10 V3 as a PC integrated amplifier the options are very nice. So far so good.

@Mike_Trueman do you have mutliple subs? What speaker?
Diamonds 12.1 speakers and a SVS-SB1000PRO subwoofer like you can see in my signature and in the video. :)
The nad M10 V3 does have 2 dedicated subwoofer connections.

I can confirm the optical connection goes to 24bit/192khz max

Streaming and playing files go higher to 32-bit/768kHz (ESS Sabre DAC)
