I have have been running Elysia Xfilter for a number of years on Dynaudio core 59's. The left speaker is jambed tightly in a corner with no choice with that for now. My question is I usually use shelve filter from -300 to 400 +6 or so & then shelve tilt 1-2db from 1k or so . Then I decided to retry Dirac live ...So this is what I got with wide multipoint measurements. It's a mess but what would you do with what I have shown. I don't know how to shelve tilt from just the curtain spot upward on dirac. The corrected shot doesn't sound bad..but I can get better sounding on the Elysia Xfilter settings.. I listen to everything from TOOL to acoustical instrumentals. Also alot of +80db listening to be honest.

Unfortunately this is not really showing you the reality
What Dirac shows is a simulation of what it 'believes' (or 'predicts') your optimized measurement will look like
(I have been using it since v1.1)

If you can, measure your Dirac optimized system with a measurement mic in your MLP in REW and post the mdat file
That will show you the reality
shelve filter from -300 to 400 +6 or so & then shelve tilt 1-2db from 1k or so
Do you mean having a downward slope from 1kHz to 20kHz?
You can only do that in Dirac by sliding the curtain to 20kHz (so it will optimize to 20kHz) which will enable you to set the downward slope that you need (if that is what you need)

That what I thought as I could not get the un-optimized after curtain to tilt shelve. I will get a proper mic on its way & see what I really got. If Dirac isn't showing what a summed up multi point measurement from MLP is then what's the point of it even showing a person this response .?

It is trying to guess what the response will look like but since the measurements were taken mostly outside the MLP one cannot expect that Dirac would know what the real optimized curve will look like exactly in the MLP

This is what I ended up with. Still using the 700hz 1.5db tilt shelve on the Eylsia X filter with the sub 400hz Dirac correction. I'm leaving this alone for now as its pretty good to me. It's at +7.4db at around 50hz but prefer it there over +6. More time will tell.
