Today I bought a 1Kw Tripp-Lite isolation transformer from someone living in my immediate area who had it listed it in the local classified ad section. I had no immediate need for it but the price was right and I like the idea of having one in my ever growing collection of things I rarely use. That's all good however this post is not about the transformer but about the purchase experience. The person I bought it from is well known in the audio industry and his name is often mentioned on ASR. It was quite a surprise for me to find out we live in the same neighborhood! I'll let you guys guess who he is
