This article popped up in the news items that Google displays in Chrome on my phone. I thought, why not? Maybe there'll be some sites I haven't seen before.

There was a lot questionable in the introduction as I skimmed it. So out of curiosity, I quickly scrolled down to the first review site in the list.

Apparently to some people What HiFi is quite reliable: "The point is, can we take certain elements of reviews and relate them to our own experiences to form opinions about their trustworthiness? Well, with What HiFi, absolutely."

What hifi is a known quantity. Audio Bacon on the other hand just straight up copies the marketing blurb, or possibly enhances it.
