did u use standard Apple audio dongle then?
or (gasp) old iPhone with 3.5mm headphone jack?
neither will have enough good power to drive those expensive headphones - they r not mobile friendly.

I used the iFi diablo the store provided and connected my phone through a usb to lightning adapter. Additionally, apple dongle never clips. It's either loud enough or it's not.

They are so good lol. Can definitely be improved with EQ though.
