The left cup went out on my Arya. I didn't drop it or anything, it just went out while I was watching youtube. I bought it second hand from a dude but the original purchase happened under 9 months ago so I am not sure if they will help me or not.

I am going to bet not, but I wanted to see if anyone has any experience dealing with Hifiman customer sercvice.

Have you tried swapping the cable for the right wire. Double checking not a wire/connector issue

Yeah I have two set's of cables and I tried both of them, and I just switched the cables around too. I changed audio sources from my D90 Dac to my Scarlett 2i2 and it still happens.
Thanks for the tip though!

Sorry then my friend. If the dude is a friend you might have better luck getting him to liaise with HFM as I suspect they will say warranty doesnt carry over - I might be wrong on this.

Otherwise, you could either get a local expert to have a look or plead with HFM yourself

Yeah I was actually just thinking about asking him to be the liaison

Edit: I was able to contact them and it is going to be repaired/replaced.
