This was shipped in the hard case seen in the photos, the exterior of the amplifier is very very nice, and inrrally like the gun metal color. I paid close to $1400 shipped from Musmy website, it was delivered via UPS.

I have had it for about a month and have zero issues with it, I do get a slight hum when I’m on the input from the pre outs from my RZ70 avr but the avr does it to every amp I attach it to, I bought a hum eliminator off amazon and it actually removed the hum which I’m guessing is a ground loop.

Here is a video of it hooked up and playing but it’s iPhone quality so take it with a grain of salt.

I really want the Musmy A-70 off their site but it’s crazy expensive and weighs 109 pounds. Haha

Also, it would have been nice to have an input selector on the remote. It’s fucking annoying.

Any comments like “reee Accuphase clone reee or reee chifi junk it’ll fail in a year reee or good luck with warranty reee” just keep them to yourself. No one cares.

It looks like an incredible bargain at that price. When my elderly monster-sized amps finally go quiet, I will replace them with class D amps, but I can easily understand your interest if you need lots of power (I do too).
I hope it serves you well

Looks nice. It looks like there is no way to tell where the volume level on the knob is? That would be an instant deal breaker for me.

Edit: I now see there is one (unless that's for a set screw) but it's on the side of the knob where it would be nearly impossible to see from the MLP.

Love the price! It's supposed to output up to 80wpc in Class A and automatically switch to 350wpc in Class AB if needed, so I would be interested in knowing how warm/hot it gets?

110V or 240V? It should be marked on the backside, but it isn't. Missing CE badge: I personally would steer away from this amplifier, but your milage obviously varies.

Cool. How long did delivery take from order to delivery? Were there any issues with shipping/delivery?

Thant's not an EU CE Mark.

It's a facsimile/copy/fake, made to confuse and fool a consumer into thinking the device is CE-complaint.

For the sake of the end-user, I wonder what happens if the consumer plugs this amp into a 220V outlet if it is configured for 120V.

China Export logo is a myth:

Aren’t these in the wrong place? It says “For Audio”, but they pass no audio signal whatsoever. They are in the PSU

as far as I know, it's not that unusual to find low-ESR caps in linear power supply stages, of course supposing the "for audio" means low ESR as it should.

Then it should just say “low ESR”, should it not? But I guess then you can’t ask for a premium price…

That's it, even a simple Nover cap clearly explain this characteristic.
Now I have to do a better search for this specific capacitor line from Elna, it seems that a little chaos lives on their page ;)

I'll pray for their capacitive souls! ;)

Do you have proof that "No one cares". Presumably Accuphase might care since this potentially damages their brand.

I very much doubt it does or that they care. Accuphase are selling into an entirely different market, they purposefully limit their output to maintain price and exclusivity. Not a sign of a company that's struggling to shift product.

I can't see any way in which these cheap amps that look very superficially similar impacts their sales in the slightest.
