Music You Strongly Dislike (Just For Fun)

Somewhere in this thread someone said Tom Waits can't sing. To which I say to that poster. and anyone else who thinks the same, your opinion
on any matter of sound quality, or best equipment or anything is VOID.

The proper reply to that would be with "The Dude" meme:

Yoink away.

Bronski Beat, Pet Shop Boys, Soft Cell...

Marillion, Biffy Clyro...

Okay, someone's in a closet they don't want to be in ...
Nah. Just don't like the music actually...

However I reckon Patrick Cowley, on the other hand is awesome!
A true synth pioneer.

Try listening to Dark Side of the Moon sixteen times a week for eighteen months and then get back to me.
oh, stop teasing us and tell that story behind your sound-boarding punishment... including how the music was pumped into you.
o_O >> 16x18x4 = 1152 times?
Now I know why your avatar got that permanent migraine...

I'm a huge fan of just about every genre of metal but deathcore is just terrible.

Fair enough. While I wouldn't claim any of those artists are on heavy rotation on my system, in the right setting (e.g. a club) they are all as good as it gets for pure unapologetic pop music. Nothing wrong with that IMO.

However I reckon Patrick Cowley, on the other hand is awesome!
No arguments with that.

Blooz...particularly SRV. Just bores me to tears.

The Human League. I find the melody of Don't You Want Me Baby irritating in the extreme.

The Doors. Mediocre songs with bad lyrics and singing...

chris de burgh, lady in red for instance is nauseating saccharine garbage. Most of elton john, especially later stuff, candle in the wind= pass the vomit bucket. Later post faces Rod stewart. I could go on all day.

Rod Stewart’s ‘Every picture tells a story’ was amazing but the rest of his music is absolutely horrible after that.

OK, I’ll play too…

Tiny Tim ...

That's my cultural heritage you're talking about. Have to ask, how and where did a US-ian find themselves tiptoeing through the tulips?

Interesting, I'm not really a metalhead but find deathcore ok. Ok it took a concerted effort to get there. How do you go with metalcore and math rock?

I think any genre containing 'core' is going to have issues.

You'll be missing out on so many -cores.

Diane Bish.

Edit: Diane Bush is pretty awesome, tho. (Totally enraged that she still isn’t on Qobuz.)
