music streaming service has sound skip issue on anthem av receiver

the mrx740 built in a pcb to receiver sound data directly from server of spotify
it is wired network connected to router
the sound will skip a half second when playing music

i tried reset network setting to factory but nothing changed

The audio quality of mrx can select to very high because i subscribe the plan
i have a dedicated eversolo a8 streamer for spotify but the sound quality only has normal option

which factor caused this issue

Is the skipping only at the start of a song? Or at random moments?

randomly most of time happen on the end of the song
sometimes happen on the middle timeline of the song

the receiver has no issue no sound skip when i purchased until i unplug the rj45 cable and teardown the on board wifi antenna
replace the wifi antenna from the old pc motherboard
the sound become skip since i replace the antenna
to solve the issue i replace back the original antenna from anthem also plug in a network cable
but issue still there
lastly i do all the reset factory setting the sound still skill randomly

It could be that you botched the wifi antenna connector? Is wifi disabled when you use LAN? If not, try that first.

- So you have two simultaneous connections to your router (one via WiFi and one via wired ethernet)? That's not a great idea.

- Does the unit have a WiFi signal strength indicator? As @voodooless implies, are you sure the antenna is working OK?

It sounds like some issue with caching of the audio tracks from the online service. If the issue pertains when connected via ethernet (without simultaneous wireless connection, of course) and the internet connection is of a reasonable quality, I would ask the manufacturer - IMO firmware issue (software which runs on the very likely linux computer inside that box). Since the device is quite expensive, I would expect a good customer service.
