So here I am in bed at 4am in the morning... listening to music to go back to sleep or at least relax. And figured we could have a thread on our favorite relaxation tracks.
I am listening to Opus Monik right now.

Weirdly I find fairly rhythmic music helps me go to sleep. I've often fallen asleep in MRI scanners!

So I find Mike Oldfield's Incantations effective.

I sleep listening to podcasts

My favorite band to sleep to, seriously

This one really works for me sometimes, even though he actually has other tracks / albums entitled "Sleep Chamber", I like this:

Also pretty good just for focusing during the workday or whatever.

Three of my ambient favourites. First one is a very nice floaty one, second one is a very calm foresty seven hour journey and the third one is when The KLF made ambient involving sheeps and Elvis.

I'm pleased to see that we have common references.:)
Somnium is on DVD A.

I like noise cancelling with natural sounds like rain.

Also binaural beats.

YT has a lot of material.

I bought the hemi-sync 3cd box in the 90s. Can recommend to try that topic out.

Seriously Bob Ross your gone in minutes:facepalm:

For the last 5 years I favor the internet music streamer SOMAFM which offers one station they call "Drone Zone"; it's free for listeners while welcomes financial support. I've found their playlists (no lyrics) reliable when want to promote sleep when played softly through room speakers or via my iPad tablet on the bedside table.

Rain! Sorry, any water sounds and I'd have to be off to the loo!
