Curious about everything I decided to test two multisockets against each other.
Nothing exotic about them, just decent at a price tag around 40 euros each.
What made me test then was a difference I'll report later.

What you're about to see is a whole system measurement, just before the amps.
That includes PC > DAC > Pre > Electronic crossover > ADC > PC.
The whole thing is on 3 multisockets plugged in 3 different wall receptacles, one for the PC-ADC rig and two for the rest.

So:

About the difference.
Curious as always I opened them both.Their difference is that ground cable in one of them was connect both in plugs and chassis the other one only on plugs and chassis is insulated in and out.
The "better" (A) is the one grounded in both chassis and plugs.Explanation is way above my pay grade, the only thing I have to say is that if you have the chance measure everything, sometimes it matters.

Of course everything you see is case specific, just to show the variations between stuff we wouldn't suspect normally.
