I am running a pair of Manger P2 speakers actively, utilizing Linn's Exakt technology through a Linn Selekt Edition hub with stereo out modules, which are equipped with the Organik DAC. The Selekt handles the frequency correction, which is bypassed in the P2s. The sound is already quite good; however, these modules only provide 50 watts at 8 ohms.
So I need 4 stereo channels.

Now, I think a bit more power could benefit the Manger P2 speakers. I am considering two possible solutions:
  1. One 4-channel Linn Akurate 4200 (111 watts at 8 ohms)
  2. Two stereo SPL 900 (200 watts at 8 ohms)
Has anyone had experience with either a multi-channel amplifier or two separate stereo amplifiers?
Maybe also after a Linn Selekt?

regards
Hannes
