Multi-Channel, Multi-Amplifier Audio System Using Software Crossover and Multichannel-DAC

Okidoki. Am I looking for the spectral frequency editing stuff?

In my introduction post, I wrote;
I know very well that the Color Spectrum of Adobe Audition (I use Ver. 3.0.1) is not "the almighty" at all; it only gives 3D color representation of time-frequency-gain (sound pressure), and (almost) no info on sound cleanliness (S/N, distortion), sonority, 3D stereo perspective/image, extent of SP disappearance and so on. Nevertheless, I assume the Color Spectrum of Adobe Audition of specific audio sampler music track would be more worthwhile than having no such objective representation of the track.

I am installing Audition right now. BRB.
Looking forward to hearing your experiences with Adobe Audition and its color spectrum!

Am I looking for the spectral frequency editing stuff?

If you would like to do so, Adobe Audition is also really powerful, almost "the almighty", tool for all the aspects of audio editing!

Seems to be clipping or something overloading.

@dualazmak all the POP songs that I play have no red blips in the upper frequencies and they all appear to clip excessively.

@dualazmak - Hmmmz... I adjusted the EQ and no change noticed. So why is the level clipping. Bad recording?

No, not at all; please carefully try and learn the spectrum and its "Spectrum Control Panel" which I always showed with the spectrum.

So why is the level clipping. Bad recording?

Bad recording or bad downsampling/compression into mp3, I assume.
If you send me the track by PM, then I will analyze it for you; I am very much familiar with Adobe Audition, ver. 3.0.1 free version in my case.

In this spectral Controls;

Fundamentals;
Black-dark_red means no_gain to low/gain, redish color means medium gains, yellow-bright_yellow means high gains! Understandable?

Crick "Window", check "Spectral Controls", in case of my Audition 3.0.1.

Any one who uses latest version (with cost) of Adobe Audition, please give suggestions/guidances for Doodski regarding the "Spectrum Controls"!

How about this?

@dualazmak getting more colorful in this song. But not like your classical stuff.

You would please further control the gains, but looking at the green time-intensity profiles and the color 3D time-gain-Fq spectrum, your specific mp3 track is saturated and clipped, greatly distorted; typical example of bad and poor-QCed mp3!

I will soon analyze the ZIP-ed files.

Your ZIP-ed track; the gain is obviously saturated and clipped, bad and poor-QCed mp3:
