Obviously, the A5 has been too good to not develop a fan base looking for a.model with built-in PSU. :D
@3eaudio What he said! The performance of the A5 was already better than many of us would ever need. And of us have been waiting for it to come in a box with built-in PSU and 12 V trigger.

Will there be Amazon listings for Europe as well? Currently in Belgium, I can't seem to find any for the A5/A7 (- mono).

Don’t know if it will be easy or too complex but Will 2 channel amp have self DIY option to add additional modules on the chassis, since chassis will have always have space for it?
it can but only fit our module or the module complies with the mechanical size and electrical connections.

3eaudio has operated in a high price range with it's DIYS products from the beginning. Now, with your "new" amps "in a box" the price made me loose any interest. I will explain. I perfectly understand you want to get rich fast, which is the only thing driving your economy I guess. You already have a well working Texas Instruments chip amp, now you simply put a handfull of them in a case and call it a day. No development and the option to cut some corners and produce even cheaper.
For the customer outside China, there is a catch: Because the price is more than 150€ now, the tax and customs cost is collected at my side of the deal now, not at Aliexpress as before. Sure, that is preferred by you, I understand, much more money in your pokets. Anyway, if someone orders from you, in fact he may end up with 50% more than the Aliexpress price. This 50% include custom, VAT and a handling fee set by the parcel service, which in fact can be more than customs and tax combined, depending on the carrier. Most buyers will only realize this when the post man rings and wants to collect the (serious) extra money. Your competitors already offer tax free "end price delivery" for their products which are on a level with yours.
If you start building multi channel amps, they sure will get more expensive than comparable products already on the market. Products that have service and usually 3 years of warranty. We all know that service and warrany, in reality, are non existing for products bought from you and Aliexpress or the like. Remember, if one channel of 4,6 or 8 fails, the whole multi channel amp is for the garbage can.
Now, for an example: in the EU I can get a 4 channel quality amp, douple the undistorted power than yours, for 340€ delivered to my doorstep. All taxes and delivery included, with a "no questions asked" warranty for 3 (three) years! A product that will run at full output for days if asked to. If it breaks, it will be repaired at no cost. Compare that to your offer. Without knowing what your amplifiers prices will be, I know they will be too expensive for my understanding of a real quality product.

Well, that post wasn’t about having fun and learning. Sounds like you have a perfect amplifier solution so not sure why you are looking any further.
Though I need another amplifier like I need another belligerent forum poster, I am looking forward to 3E Audio’s multichannel release and will probably spend a day or two hard earned pay to support their “get rich quick” scheme.

I'm currently using two A7 stereos to drive two speakers and two passive subwoofers, I've been considering expanding my speaker channels, so this is perfect timing.

What about the cooling solution for this amp? Knowing that the TPA3255 in two A7s generates significant heat, it would be great if it had a built-in cooling fan.

Currently we are running production and should be ready to ship to the Amazon warehouse before end of Jan, some samples will also be sent to Audiophonice in the coming days.

@pieterv1, they share the same chassis with a simple design and reduce production costs.
  • 2/3/4 channel one : 260 x 265 x 90mm (including feet=8mm)
  • 6/8 channel one: 460 x 265 x 90mm (including feet=8mm)
a little bit surprised PAM152 got 10 votes.....
@3eaudio Great news!

Are PAM15X, PAM25X or both designs in production?

I am honestly not surprised by the 10 votes for the PAM152. I guess that many of us are waiting for a well-implemented 2ch amp with integrated power-supply rather than a multi-channel solution. Many brick-haters around here ;)

Fantastic! I have been dreaming of an amp exactly like this for forever. Was thinking of 3d printing a little chassis to stick 4 douk a5s in. This is much better...

Would love to see a variant with 2 pm25 channels, and 6 pm15

Hi Amigoes

We are preparing to build a multi-channel amp. Wanna know which model is more popular for users? If you are interested, please help us get your vote.
  • Leverage A5(TPA3251),A7(TPA3255) PFFB design with built-in GaN Power supply
  • Pure-Amplifier without volume control, configurable multi-channel as 2/3/4/6/7/8 into 2 enclosures.
  • Support both 12V Trigger IN and Auto On/Off (User selectable)

For me - if I were purchasing (I am not) - I would not get the lower powered version. My AVR can already deliver that power level.

I would also consider - most surround systems have an odd number of speakers due to the centre channel. How about making the default number of channels 3, 5, 7, 9 - otherwise most people will be leaving a channel unused.

I might even consider a PAM255 for the front/centre/surround speakers, leaving the hight speakers to the AVR. I've voted for the PAM256.**

**EDIT - no I didn't, voting is closed. I would have done. :-)

I like even numbers because I'd use it for active speakers. I'm guessing I'm in the minority though
