Funny thing, the OST. Some of them have very good music, some of them have music that is GREAT for the scenes of the movie, but listening to them with no video is basically impossible. And some of them are very good even if the movie, well...
This is a selection of my favorites. At least, the albums that I continue to listen to, without getting tired of them, and that I like all the songs, not just one or two.

I bet you can notice that a famous composer is missing, someone whose name starts with Z and ends with Immer. I just can't stand him, sorry.

I watched a movie called "Bell Bottom" last night. The movie was good but the soundtrack was great.
The music is a mix of Desi, jazz, funk, pop etc playing against an old school James Bond/Mission Impossible/Bollywood film. Available on Prime video.

MUBI Notebook Soundtrack Mix #22: The Sounds of 2021

The year in movie soundtracks. For an introduction by mixer Florence Scott-Anderton (@florencesa), as well as the full tracklist, visit the Notebook https://mubi.com/notebook/posts/soundtrack-mix-22-the-sounds-of-2021

The Sounds of 2021 mix of movie soundtracks comes in at just over two hours: a synergy of cerebral, graceful, paranoid, turbulent, and wondrous sounds from across all genres, merged to tell its own sonic story. The focus is mainly Hollywood and American indie movies, with a few excursions to Ethiopia, Chile, Japan, France, United Kingdom, Italy, and Sweden. My moviegoing practices became ever more erratic this year after a move to a new country, on-off rule changes in cinemas, and a tendency to have cinematic interests in something specific that was not part of the current slate. That being said, there was excitement in the air when it came to new cinema that felt more powerful this year than last and I hope that grows. New work from Mica Levi, Ludovico Einaudi, and a country soundtrack from Clint Eastwood’s latest film are a few of the exciting moments from this year's cinema sonics that you’ll find in the mix. Below are a few highlights. [...] https://mubi.com/notebook/posts/soundtrack-mix-22-the-sounds-of-2021

hi
i make this mix with vangelis memories of green blade runner song theme...
i pitchshift the melody of vangelis with cubase and put the video sound in background and make a video synchronised with windows movie maker...
an huge work...i don't care...i have no work here in France : ( nexus 6 work rejected )
the result is better in french than in english
because i use the french version of blade runner to pitchshift the vangelis melody
but the english version had better mastering
i had to use vst eventide h949 to tuned the tone of vangelis harp for the english version (but it not enough precise to make a good job)
VF :
VO :
hope you enjoy it !
best regards weesch

I've never seen the movie, but I've had the soundtrack CD for at least 20 years. You have mid-90s jazz stars recreating the sound of early-30s KC. It's not a perfect recreation, though. The musicians' modern sensibilities creep (or barge, in the case of James Carter) into the proceedings, but that is what makes it exciting.

I see
Al Pachino i think ! Good for him
he is a god actor...
But ....
The fashion world sucks...
I live in Paris and I can tell you...
There is nothing in there...
Only isolated and rich cowards like Emmanuel Macron !
Who guide our ideologies towards hatred, war, death, genocide...
We were all brought up in this ideology...
It's up to us to sort things out.
And to choose what is best for us and the planet earth...
So that our soul is recognized at its true value when we are dead...
That's why they take "sweet dreams song" because it talk about abuse between each other....
it's an old ideology at the time of "Dallas"
all are Jr Ewing...
But it's nothing as say Townes vandt Zandt
Listen to him and you will find the aswer of the meaming of our life.
I am born to love him...
Because i discover that what he said was ever in me...

I'm surprised no one already posted Shigeru Umebayashi's "2046" or in the "Mood for Love".
(great recordings too,the originals I mean, not the YT version of course)
