Movie Soundtracks We Enjoy

Portable turntable with BT.
Oh, okay -- how stupid (IMO). Who's using that...and WHERE?

Yeah, I only spin vinyl at home, as well, and don't take my cherished pressings over to anyone's house.

Not from a movie, but from a TV series (Sarah Connor Chronicles), Shirley Manson did a cover of "Samson and Delilah" that was used in one of the episodes. She also had a recurring role in that series and was great in it...

When I was 6 or 7 a family friend gave me a walkman and two movie soundtrack cassettes, Labamba and Cocktail. Still my favorite as far as movie soundtracks, some fantastic songs on both. Pulp Fiction also has a killer soundtrack.

These are all not soundtracks. It is existing music, often not used for artistical reasons but to promote the movie.

I don't get your point, Herbert.
And I don't like your tone.

I have to say I’m with you, Adis. I wasn’t entirely sure what Herbert meant at first either so as work’s quiet this morning I gave all the info to ChatGPT to see if AI could work it out. The explanation was that the songs posted are existing tracks that featured in the film rather than being written specifically for it. That might be what Herbert was getting at not entirely sure, either way Herbert's tone seemed unnecessary harsh and rude.

Oh? Well, that happens with a lot of movies, many of them use songs by this or that artist.
The only reason I know about these songs is because I heard them in the movie (and I went to the trouble of finding them!), which, again, is the sole reason to post them here.

Actually I'm not sure now if ChatGTP is right... Ir's just told me that ACDC's "Big Gun" was written for the film so that logic is out the window. I'm sure Herbert will be along shortly to explain more.......
