Most ridiculous speaker design ever?

That's a whole home audio system if I've ever seen one!
Although the woofer ports seem a bit small, the woofers seem to be low-excursion so it shouldn't be too bad. That and the enclosure will leak more than an old american car...

Would love to see it on the klippel tho! Who knows, maybe it won't get the worst panther?

It's actually probably not much worse than was JBL's gorgeous Paragon. ;)

In a different sense of ridiculous the plasma speaker which was horribly inefficient and produced a harmful ion cloud in use.

But the Paragon actually has some amount of engineering that went into its design, and it does look good. I mean, horns + big bass drivers is definitely a good recipe.
Yup. It's beautiful, it's well made, it's engineered -- and it sounds (at best) meh.

That's the first thread-killing post I've seen on ASR;
& to quote the late Cupid Stunt:- "It was all done in the best possible taste".
Now that you mention taste i wonder if it's a bass reflex design because unfortunately a rear view is missing. If so, I hope they got the port noise under control.

The other one had the curves...

S.
One could also reflect again on wether we have enough research on the different curve shapes and wether there is an ideal curve that works equally well for everyone.
