Most beautiful speakers in the world ?

After falling in love with the JBL 250Ti because of the top end and astonishing mid bass thump I can only fall for these too. Dual 18 inchers = rock and roll de jour speaker.
Yep, the Everest 67000s are awesome. Too bad they cost as much as my house.

I'm also in love with the Infinity IRS V Reference Standards which I never had a chance to hear.
Also the IRS Beta's which were much more affordable.
I used to go to Paul Heath (or Victors?) in Chicago back in the 70-80s to listen to the Beta's, incredibly detailed, at least for the time.
I'd pull up on my 1949 Harley Panhead chopper and the sales guy would go nuts about me being there. ROTFL.

Not really hifi, but very beautifull i think. These are some custom build "dub soundsystems". They are not neutral sounding, but that is the goal. They fit the reggae and dubsound very well on high power and are very bass heavy like the reggae/dub crowd wants it.

The Thiel CS3.7 is a fine speaker, but its looks can be off-putting. It did not have the WAF (wife acceptance factor) of my current CS6, so it never came home with me!

I know what you mean. But strangely my wife actually preferred them to my current smaller more traditional looking 2.7s.
I’ll never figure her out.

So "active" isn't anything new eh ? LOL
The speakers are passive, the amp stack is next to the dj (who is also the designer and builder of the amps, the "soundsystem preamp" (that is a kind of primitive dj mixer and crossover in one) and the tube phone stage. All these pieces can also be bought from him (build on order).

This is him on the Reggae Geel festival in Geel, Belgium in 2015 where he overblew a 30kW line array on the stage next to it with his (at that time) 3kW tube amp soundsystem... I was in the crowd that day. All you see on that stage but the turntable and the old shure mic is his own diy build.

Most of the posts are for expensive speakers (naturally) but I think Monitor Audio produces some really beautiful speakers at a reasonable price. The way they hide the hardware and the small dimensions really appeal to me. Sorry for picking something inexpensive but I think these Silver 200 7G look great!

Maybe not beautiful, but curious:

That's the nicest looking pair of the IRS V Reference Standards that I've seen! What a wood finish!

I believe it was that model I heard in a large show room at an NYC audio store and it was my first experience of a speaker that could actually do something like the scale or sensation of listening to a full orchestra!

These holes for the front covers and visible screws for the speakers are a no go if you’re talking about the most beautiful speakers in the world.
I see.
Must be these than. Gedlee Abbey and Gedlee Summa, screwless in the front!
