Since we're going with 1 box stereo - here's Naim Muso Wood Tone Edition. I've asked Naim to make a movie soundbar based on this design...

The only thing that looks as nice as this is the Technics SU-R1000 and the Yamaha M5000.

My weed dealer of circa 1982 had CVs hanging from the ceiling in the kitchen. They where very heavy on chains, had 18" woofs, 3-way and had some very piecing top end if he let it/the horns loose. They pounded well. Years later I was selling CVs and people loved them. Very party oriented speaker.

Those are the best looking ones that I have seen. Most who build them pay ZERO attention to the aesthetics.

This highlights the importance of stands for bookshelf speakers. You put that speaker on a modern stand and it's going to look completely out of place.

The stand has a matching wood, 3 leg design, brass supports and is the exact same width as the speaker creating perfect lines. What kind of speakers are they?

They are solid wood Diapason Prelude II’s with Diapason stands, bought in 1998 and still playing beautifully. The stands were quite expensive, something like half of the speakers’ cost.

I have never heard of this brand. I like the looks of everything on their website! (My cynical ass then assumes they all sound terrible).

That's different! But for me the matte paint finish doesn't work here. Glossy would have been better in this case IMO.

The shape of the speaaker isn't too different from a prototype speaker we did. In the final version, we'll be adding a veneered top plate.

If you want waveguides and minimal edge diffraction in the same package it's almost impossible to get a different aesthetic

The cream white version is very interesting. It also makes you wonder how the Davone Meander would look with a cream white cloth or a beige/gold fabric.

I'd be curious to see this in a slimmer configuration. In some ways, it reminds me of a Concept 500 without the gloss and with the x and z axis inverted.
