Most beautiful speakers in the world ?

I never thought I would view this as a beautiful speaker but with the matching stands and the grille off, it has such a vintage flair. Even the ugly front port with the tweeter cover works. They're misshaped, there are screws on the wood, they're quite perfect and the Sonus Faber badge.

I actually quite like the vintage Sonus Faber aesthetic. One of my favorite speakers from a purely aesthetic standpoint is the original Amati Homage.

Why do they insist on making all of their speakers so thin?
Most speaker designers found out long ago a narrow baffle is one of the best ways to eliminate reflective LFs from distorting the mids and highs
on line arrays or hybrids. A reverse taper is even better to meet a larger cabinet if there are sub/bass drivers in the same cabinet. In the case of
bass drivers in the same cabinet (which sucks) I use larger lighter cone/VC with fixed flat phase plugs to take care of reflective LFs issues.
Distortion is distortion. A lot of people collect it rather that not make it at all or treat it where it is most needed. At the driver (S) face with phase plugs
or in the use of "narrow baffles". It will never be pretty but that is what a speaker cover is for, ay?

Wide baffles are fine for bass junkies or if you need to increase bass response. I have a few older pairs I really like for parties and such.
The bigger issue is my party and dancin' days are over (I think). I seldom throw the hat on the floor anymore and the dog wonders why.

Side Note: Does anyone know how to add an external PS and a potentiometer to a pacemaker. I want to turn this sucker up.
The dog thinks it's a good idea. I need a volunteer and a few ideas. What do you say fellas? As long as the IQ is below
50 or they like to try new things, we are good. Me I just want to see what happens to some (sucker) volunteer, so does the dog.

I'd go WIFI but that just don't seem right with a PM. Sun Spots? I don't trust the wife either.

I find that Davone has some of the prettiest speakers in the market. They look like nice furnitures. However, as audiophiles we add beauty to sound quality as well and this effects our view on the aesthetics.

I think there can be beauty in huge speakers too, but in a very different way than small and slim speakers.

They are smart Bjorn who makes them ?

It's ours (Vera Audio). Hasn't been released yet.

I also very much like several of B&Os speakers. Beolab 50 where they nicely combine wood with black and silver.

The Beolab 18 is also good looking if your into slim speakers.

It's a two way street. The beauty of a piece of hifi gear also affects our perception of sound quality.

I am personally willing to trade absolute technical performance for nicer looks, bcause this enables me to enjoy music more. One could say I need to have a emotional-esthetic connection to the gear to be able to enjoy them fully.

I would probably enjoy (and listen to) music more through this gorgeaus vintage sony system than any state of the art system of today.

Me too.

Speakers that look like speakers, amplifiers that look like amplifiers, in essence gear that is not ashamed of it's own existence.

The speaker is consistent. It has 2-tones and the base looks a bit industrial. The black speaker housing is slightly protruding from the wooden enclosure. The black screws are proportional. The side metal base matches the speaker's character and is preferable to a front one. The port, midrange, and tweeter are all aligned to the left. It's a boxy unapologetic design.

Just brilliant! Not my personal choice but it's a work of art and a masterpiece of industrial design.
