Do you think porting in front causes more cancelation than a back port? or does it matter?, I see a lot of conflicting info on this. Also don't know if passive radiators could get out of sink with the main driver at different volume levels.

Thank you @J.P. tweets, re front vs rear porting/cancelation.... this will be determined by your setup (Room/Speaker Placement). Rear porting relys on Front Wall (behind Speakers and why? it is fireing directly to the Front wall, isn't it?) Reflection/Timeing but front porting does not (much, much less and is fireing to the Listener/Rear Wall behind Listener) and should already be aligned with the Front Baffle and Drivers although the 1st Reflection (Side Walls) requires consideration (hence Cardioid). Overall, consideration/setup for each arrangement, is necessary....

Thanx, That's good to know. Mine are ported upper front, pointing forward, and was worried I screwed up, I was going for "cool looking" but need more work to sound better, happy it's not the ports cause that would mean major alternations and destroying aesthetics. appreciate for the info!

Some very few are interesting. Of those, some look promising sonically. But yeah, a lot of high-end is attracting attention, good or bad.

I am with you. I hereby move to replace wife acceptance factor (WAF) with human acceptance factor (HAF). Of which, pitifully few of the speakers presented here have.

But I must admit, I do enjoy viewing the insanity posted in this thread. I just wouldn't enjoy viewing most of these speakers in my house.
