Fresh and modern IMHO. Not my personal preference, but I could see them fitting in well to many a wabi-sabi interior design, better than polished wood or black boxes.

They seem to have been designed to appeal to that retro je-ne-sais-quoi of metal-heads!

I like that Genelec also offers a raw aluminum version of its speakers. I wish other companies would do the same.

And if you don't like the raw look...
