Most beautiful speakers in the world ?

Looks to me like a food thermometer by way of Claes Oldenburg :-)
Everyone has their own associations, of course.
I think it’s a refreshing change of pace, but above all, I’d be interested to see how this Dispersion Design performs in a living room.

It comes from the PA sector and is a LD MAUI system, just like the 44G, for which I’ve attached a test report with measurements by Anselm Goertz.

Unfortunately, it’s only available in German, but maybe the translator works for PDFs too

P.S.
Anselm Goertz and Wolfgang Klippel essentially belong to the same German electroacoustic “school” or tradition and have also published several papers together.

for example
Goertz A, Leckschat D, Klippel W (1991) Real-time nonlinear equalization of loudspeakers using a signal processor. Fortschritte der Akustik, DAGA 1991

They may share a manufacturer, and broadly their appearance, but their approach to the tweeter is entirely different.

Is that a DSD horn?

Yes, good call!

It's actually "DDS"... Design Direct Sound. The model is ENG 1-90 Pro. I wish they were still available.

Here's something more traditional with the same waveguide-style horn, circa 2006:

I find those speakers terribly offputting.

Speaking of associations… the
ungainly proportions of the stout body with a long protruding neck gives me flashbacks to an old horror movie, island of terror, and the bone eating monster that gave me nightmares:

oh I agree the horror movie version is disturbing, but I do like the Porsche design version … but 40 hz means I still need subwoofers
