Beauty is in the eye and all that but having said that, I wonder how many pairs of Magico M9 have been sold at $750,000.00 per pair? Yes 3/4 of a million dollars for the speakers alone. But they are active in the bass range so that should save ya a couple bucks on the amps. That said, even though they are fully competent in the low bass, for TOTL bass performance you'll still need at least 4 big subs positioned in the room so as to even out room modes.
And how about some purdy wood Veneer on the sides, all that cash and all ya get is black?

Did ya notice, all that money and not a Vinyl Spinner in sight? Hummmm

I have seen posts on this thread of that design. I assumed the lower portion with the round ports were for the upper horn-loaded portion. Seeing your back side image, how are the upper and lower related in this speaker design?

B&O deserves some sort of Olympic Gold Metal Award for consistently bringing some of the most fugly speakers to market our industry has ever seen, sorry. JMHO
