Most beautiful speakers in the world ?

they had such a narrow sweet spot that I'm guessing the directivity and/or frequency response was all over the place.
That doesn't surprise me at all looking at the totally ridiculous arrangement of the tweeters. Only when both speakers are aimed directly at the listener can the listener be equidistant to both tweeters of each loudspeaker and equidistant to both midrangers of each loudspeaker (and only at one height). Everyone sitting outside that one-point sweetspot will suffer from horrible comb filtering effects.

I was just going through this old show report, the Warsaw audio show from 2022.

My friend is an audio writer who was covering that show, and he entered a very interesting room with lots of nice looking gear by a custom audio company. And in that room, he spotted a beautiful looking remote control, with a nice big volume knob, just the type of item I told him I was looking for. He put me in touch with that company and that Polish company built me a custom remote control just like the ones they used for their equipment.

One of the remotes in a lighter zebrawood colour can be seen sitting on one of their amplifiers:

And this is like the one they made for me:

The reason I’m bringing it up is that the show report page has an absolute ton of photos from the Warsaw show, with a lot of really interesting-looking loudspeakers (along with other gear). The Europeans have quite a sense of style. And it’s really fun to see equipment that we often don’t get to see in North America. For anybody interested in perusing the photos here’s a link to one of the show report pages:

That is especially fun, seeing your remote in zebra garb.

Their amp itself is exquisite really. The loudspeakers are rather nice also. My Audio Physic were offered in zebra and stripy dark ebony options—where the veneer was applied to the back of the elastomer-mounted glass sheets that sheath the cabinet—but as they had the used pair at half RRP in plain anthracite grey I went minimalist. Feline-resistant in any colour.

2026 new grills. Even better in satin walnut but still a nice lookin' speaker.

Note the technique to mirror the grain in the wood block for the remote, similar to the book matching of veneers we've been talking about. I also prefer this type of finish where some of the wood texture remains, rather than the high gloss.

thank you
I chose the concrete sphere because the low mid is difficult to dampen with a wooden housing, and a sphere is the strongest shape. specialli if its made from concrete .
The low mid only works up to 700 hertz; up to 600 it is a perfect omnidirectional radiator. off axxis the system as a whole give a nice pattern .
the high mid has a housing of its own .
