Most beautiful speakers in the world ?

Now I want some! (Hmm they may be a bit expensive for me..., although the company itself doesn't seem to advertise prices)

"... external crossover (not included)..." Nobody would expect this at this cheap price tag :facepalm:
Now they have definitivly entered a parallel universe ...
Maybe they are finally admitting they have no idea how to make a crossover, letting customers have a go couldn't be worse than their previous attempts.

New Børresen M8 Gold Signature Loudspeaker, price :1 million euros
Let's take the best speaker drivers currently available, e.g. from Purifi, and the best amplifiers available, e.g. Purifi, add a sophisticated DSP crossover and build a similar system in a quasi D'Appolito arrangement and two Ridthaler systems, have the cabinets assembled by a skilled carpenter, we will probably end up with a maximum cost of 50 to 60,000 euros.
The company develops and manufactures itself, has labor costs, buildings, etc.
1 million is probably the usual profit and dealer margin, including in-house costs.
So I would rather develop it myself and hire a carpenter for the cabinets.

But I don't like the design, so probably not.

I think that Børresen is ulgy, and ridiculous priced. For that kind of money you should expect technical perfection and more than a cheap plastic looking speaker. But yeah, fools and their money... You can make a lot better designs if design is your goal for high end...

This is the Aries Cerat Pallas, also ridiculous priced (450K) but at least an unique design that looks expensive...

I no longer like those huge speakers that I used to find fascinating.
What fascinates me today are small, active speakers with actively equalized subwoofers that have similar capabilities to the giant speakers.

Those can do a lot, but not filling a big space like big speakers can. But i'm showing these only for visuals. Tech specs in this tread are quiet irrelevant. I would never buy those, the biggest i would go are bigger JBL speakers or equivalent, not this ostentatious "look how much money i have" type of towers.

I don’t particularly want those loudspeakers, but I do like the large diffusers. I’d have one of those on my wall without complaint.

Not a functional speaker, a marble sculpture of a speaker by artist Nari Ward in the Taipei Fine Arts Museum.
