Most beautiful speakers in the world ?

At least the midrange directivity is good so it's mildly EQ-able.

I am afraid this is not the case here, as there are some very narrow dips and signs of cancellation/lobing effects, particularly in the transitional band midrange>tweeter.

Was surprised myself to see this, but I have seen several frequency response graphs on hifinews which did not match what I knew, or had measured. Please note that their graphs are pretty stretched vertically. Example:

I found this, but can’t read or translate Czech, so not sure exactly how the measurement was made.

I’ve always thought highly of the brand btw.

I commented on a different graph though.

No doubt there is cancellation at the crossover but that appears to be at 2-2.5k. The 1k dip here could likely be EQd a couple db.

No defense of the speaker, just saying. They do look good though, which is more to point of the thread :)

One good measurement doesn't really reassert your original claim as much as one bad measurement spoils it.
Yes, but I am too lazy to search for all published measurements of Canton loudspeakers. You have to trust my 4 decades long obsession about loudspeakers - older Canton models measure pretty flat, new models have slightly "happy face" frequency response.

Nine Orchard is a high end boutique hotel in an old bank in New York City. Their Swan room now has a Devon Turnbull OJAS. Lower East Side, they guest regular musical events. https://nineorchard.com/programs. The bar may require reservations. It is good to see Turnbull upping his wood finishes from grey hammertone paint.

YG has sent quite some of their models in the past to Stereophile where they showed nice on-axis linearity and smooth directivity (thanks to their waveguide), exemplary:

I would guess they expect rather Stereophile readers to buy loudspeakers in that price range than EAC or ASR ones, at least I would do in their position (or even better to both of course).

YG is one of the few brands I'd be interested in from the higher $ brands, if they also measured well. It would add to short list if Erin or ASR tested them.
