My friend has a pair of JBL M2's that his wife does not like for aesthetic reasons. I suggested that he repaint the front and veneer the sides. The original is on the left, and the AI generated image that my friend created is on the right. What do you think? Is it an improvement?

I don't think the M2 is that bad. They probably have about the same WAF as your speakers. It's not easy to integrate really large speakers into your living room.They might sell a few more speakers if they didn't look like a prop from Darth Vader's bedroom.
